DTN COMMENTS:  Still just a few bids on the table in parts of Nebraska, 
but they continue to be passed, the rest of cattle country remains quiet. 
Packer inquiry should continue to improve as the day progresses. A few 
asking prices have been noted in parts of Texas at $238 to $240. Having 
said all of that, it is still possible that significant trade volume 
could be delayed until Thursday and/or Friday. 

Beef cutouts are lower at midday (choice 402.53 -0.78, select 396.53 -
0.19) light to moderate box movement (26.55 lds of choice cuts, 7.47 lds 
of select cuts, 4.64 lds of trim, and 9.85 lds of ground). Live cattle 
futures are mixed at midday, while feeder issues are moderately to 
sharply lower.
